EXPERIMENT PANEL 4 by smurfwreck EXPERIMENT PANEL 4 by smurfwreck
This is the fourth panel, the first of the second page of the short story I'm writting using illustrations culled from the stock in s gallery. I'll update Monday with the specific piece of stock, she's got quite the large gallery and I only have dial up at home and no time to sift.

This is an experiment to see if I can do something with my drawings besides recreate a stock photo by hand, which has been bumming me out as of late, but boo hoo me right. Anyway, I figured I'd try something a little different this time out. I gave myself a very short time with the stock photo, trying to get lines down quickly in pencil, and then I inked it in the blind, quickly. I think these might have a little more energy than my usualy linework, but what the heck do I know.

Anyway, story will follow when the art is done.

Pencil, Micron Pen, and Sharpie on Bristol board.

All 100% hand-drawn, no vectors or any such stuff.

I really like this...really expressive & evocative...I love the freeness of it. Hats off to you for extending yourself like this...I should be doing the same, my stuff's too tight.

Very nicely done. I have a lot of respect for someone who can pull off such a clean drawing like this without the aid of a computer. Great stuff dude :headbang:

I'm really impressed with what your doing here! I think its coming along great, I like how there really isnt a set story yet, it gives way for imagination wich is really fun! They style once again is really awsome, and the details are great! Keep em' coming!
